Why is the US so happy that they won 1 game.?
Really, you won 1 game. We outplayed you and lost, that's hockey. Out of the past 89 years canada has won gold 24 times and silver 13 times and bronze 9 times. Correct me if im wrong but that's 46 times we won a medal. so 46 x 2 = 92. So we've won a medal more then half the time that hockey has happened in the Olympics. The US has only won 2 gold 7 silver and 1 bronze that's a total of 10. The US has only beat Canada once for gold. Canada has beat the US 5 times for gold. Nuff said, dont get to excited
I dont' think most of them mean any harm by it. It's shock value mostly. Like when Canada occassionally beats them in baseball, we enjoy that feeling too. I'm sure it's recripocal.
